Mr. Loper is a litigation partner in the firm.  His practice emphasizes practical problem solving in resolving complex professional liability and insurance-related disputes. This approach involves bifurcated trials, mediations and contingent settlement and indemnification arrangements as a means of simplifying complex litigation.

Before forming Lombardi, Loper & Conant, LLP, Mr. Loper was a Deputy District Attorney in Alameda County and a partner at Hardin, Cook, Loper, Engel & Bergez, where he practiced for 20 years. Mr. Loper has handled a broad scope of litigation matters including errors and omissions claims against insurance brokers, medical malpractice, premises liability, will contests, property damage, bodily injury and wrongful death claims, insurance coverage, insurance bad faith and contract matters.
