A native of Connecticut, Mr. Shane graduated in 2001 from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in English Language & Literature. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2007. Prior to receiving his J.D. Mr. Shane served as a Legal Extern to the Honorable James R. Lambden of the California Court of Appeal, First District.
