Mr. Conant is a litigation partner whose practice includes the defense of product liability, general liability and professional liability claims. He has defended numerous industrial and consumer product cases, and he supervises litigation in the western United States for nationally recognized clients in the transportation and hospitality industries. In the area of construction-related litigation, Mr. Conant has represented architectural and engineering firms, developers of residential and commercial real estate, and general and subcontractors.

Mr. Conant has considerable jury trial experience throughout Northern California, including the successful defense of catastrophic injury and wrongful death claims. Mr. Conant's practice has included the representation of designers and manufacturers of various consumer and industrial products including automobiles, conveyor systems, asphalt compactors, food processing equipment, and home appliances. He also devotes a considerable portion of his practice to representation of clients in the school bus, ambulance, public transit, and hospitality industries. In construction-related litigation, Mr. Conant has represented civil engineers, architects, developers and contractors in connection with construction "defect" claims, as well as suits alleging breach of contract, project delay and impact damage claims.
