Lombardi, Loper & Conant, LLP is a firm of seasoned trial lawyers with extensive trial experience in a variety of cases and venues. Our partners have tried over 150 civil cases to verdict or judgment and have also arbitrated or tried to conclusion over 50 binding arbitrations and administrative law matters. Three of our senior partners are members of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), and two of those three are also Fellows of the prestigious American College of Trial Lawyers. Our record of obtaining favorable results, and providing value to clients, is well-established in both State and Federal courts as well as in arbitration and administrative law forums. The firm serves the litigation needs of our clients whether they are insured or self-insured businesses; professionals in medicine, law or engineering; mass transit providers; municipalities; colleges and universities; religious, educational, or non-profit institutions; insurers, joint powers authorities, or individuals. Although our primary focus is the defense of general and commercial litigation including product liability, premises liability, medical, legal or engineering malpractice, transportation (rail, bus and vehicle), construction, environmental, employment, insurance coverage and bad faith, financial institutions, and contract and real estate disputes, we also pursue affirmative claims when it is in the best interest of the client to do so. The majority of the firm's time is spent practicing at the trial court level but, when appellate representation is required, the firm moves comfortably into that forum and has an established record of excellent results. Lombardi, Loper & Conant is dedicated to providing clients with thoughtful, creative, and aggressive defense strategies. Early case investigation and analysis are stressed, along with client reporting and realistic budgeting of anticipated legal expenses. Alternatives to standard hourly billing are willingly discussed and often provided. The firm works to be familiar not only with our clients' legal issues, but also their industries. By attaining this familiarity, we strive to provide legal advice that transcends a single lawsuit, and allows the client to make decisions that track with overall business strategies.
