Bruce Loper Professional Liability, General Liability, Insurance Coverage, Employment, Wills And Estates Mr. Loper has more than 10 years of experience as a mediator and arbitrator and more than 20 years of experience as a trial attorney. He has served as a Settlement Commissioner for the Alameda County Superior Court and as a member of that court’s Arbitration Panel. He has been involved in the resolution of a variety of different kinds of disputes, involving professional liability and malpractice, all manner of general liability disputes, employment suits and professional liability actions. Mr. Loper’s many years of experience as a trial attorney have provided diverse litigation experience, with a focus on complex professional liability and insurance and insurance coverage and insurance bad faith litigation, as well as errors and omissions suits against insurance agents and brokers. His practice also has included extensive litigation of medical malpractice claims, premises liability suits, will contests, product liability suits, property damage actions and bodily injury and wrongful death claims. Fees $250 per hour (as of January 1, 2000). This fee is shared equally by the parties unless the parties have made another arrangement among themselves. There are no additional administrative charges. A deposit of $550 is to be paid two weeks prior to the mediation or arbitration hearing date. There is a 10-day cancellation policy. If the parties cancel the proceeding fewer than 10 days before its date, the $550 deposit will be forfeited.
