The firm recently defended a medical negligence/wrongful death claim arising out of the demise of a 58 year old attorney.  The plaintiffs alleged that the decedent’s primary care provider failed to properly monitor and address the patient’s chronic hypertension and hyperlipidemia and failed to diagnose left ventricular hypertrophy.


The complex medical malpractice case involved issues related to primary care, cardiology and nuclear medicine. Partner Jeff Hosking secured a defense award following a six day binding arbitration.
